How do you figure out your food production next to consumption? In T1 it was simple it had an overall figure of meals provided and consumed but not in t3 or at least not that i can see!

You can estimate it by having an eye on your (food-)exports!

Depending on your set up, I've found the two original corn farms can keep up to ~100 Tropicans fed, but in my case everything was built close to those farms so travel times were very short.
