the used copy protection is not compatible to Windows Vista/7. the copy protection was disable with patch 1.1, but i heard a lot of original games, that have got problems with latest OS.
the gold versions (international Patrician 3) sold under kalypso were completely free from copy protection and run without problems under Vista/7

haha, now i saw i missed theme, i have problem with Patrician IV, i still didn't try Patrician 3.
Btw, does P3 have maybe feature that i appreciated the most in original P1, different cargo capacity, depend on time when it was made, giving total differentiation among ship fleet?
