Hello everybody!

We have released patch 1.02 for Airline Tycoon 2. Here is the changelog:

Airline Tycoon Patch 1.02 Changelog

- The total cost of the cabin equipment is now listed at the bottom of the cabinpartlist
- If a competitor goes bankrupt, you will still be able to view his statistics
- You can no longer zoom out in event locations
- You can now buy objects from the shop by double clicking
- The target condition will now be calculated correctly
- You can now adjust the starting money more easily
- There are new tooltips in the mission selection
- Some voiceovers did not play correctly this has been fixed
- The distance visualisation of orders has been changed
- Fixed a random crash when opening the statistic screen
- The runspeed of the tycoons has been increased by 10%
- The piemenu is no longer on top of the airportguide
- If you activate autosave, it will now save at the end of every day
- You can now watch airplanes directly from the lounge (This was a special request from the community)

It's a shame really. A lot of people use a demo to decide if they are purchasing a game or not and the demo kind of has an "unfinished" feel to it and with the game just being released people are going to download the demo now more than ever. I think you'd gain from an updated demo.

Where can we download the patch?

Boxed users will get their update via the Kalypso Launcher.

I have to agree with rizzon. The demo currently has some major bugs, and it risks discouraging people from buying the game rather than encouraging them as it should.

I also agree,
for example i took out a loan and my money level decreased from an unknowen amont to $0. having these sought of bugs dosent advertise the game well. also after i cliked on the exe file to instal on my duel core 2 GB ddr 2 machine installer took 12 minutes to launch.

Same for me....

Make sure your internet connection is not blocked by a firewall or security suite.

i would have to say a demo cant have everything you want. the game is 19.99..its cheap so just buy a copy and help kalypso. then you will have the lastest version

Can't Kalypso release a offline version of the patch?
I have installed AT2 on a PC that doesn't have the Interent connection...

I am also unable to patch. Game keeps crashing in the fourth mission when I try to add my 7th route for the 20 route mission.

I currently have the boxed version of this game and I am unable to install the patch aswell. It comes up in the launcher and register my email address which i did and activated it but it wont install the patch.

Any help please

My launcher doesn't update the game either. Could some-one plz upload the files that changed by the update? Or could kalypso post the download link from the patch here plz thx!

You have to email support regarding the problem but you will have to send in your product key of your game.
