A question about trade routes
Hey guys, first post here. Getting really frustrated with the game.
When I am making a trade route between 2 cities, I am having a lot of trouble when it comes to my own industries.
Lets say, for example, I am making a trade route with my own goods between Lubek, Aalborg and Malmo. I want to take salt from my storage in Lubek to my counting house in Aalborg to be processed into meat, which is taken to Malmo and sold, then picks up wood, bricks and cheese from Malmo and sells it in Lubek. It should be the simplest thing to do, yet it is incredibly counter-intuitive.
No matter how many different ways I try, it just doesn't work. The only way I have been able to get it to work is to sell it to the market first, which is not really an option.
Does anyone know how to get around this?
Cheers,
James

Yes, but still when I set to drop off good in my storage, and pick up others from the storage, it will drop them off, but never pick them up.

RE: A question about trade routes
I just figured it out, if you put the order in for 2 of your cities, you have to put it in for the rest of the cities in that trade route, so they don't trade in the item.
Thanks for the help
