Objects Spawning in Sandbox mode

I noticed yesterday that when playing a Random Island in Sandbox mode, that barrels with Danger written on them were in the middle of the street (3) and nearer some of my entertainment buildings. I had not clicked for these to be destroyed. I was trying to place a park beside one of them when I noticed the barrels half way in the road and on the land near the sidewalk. No matter what I did I couldn't get them to delete. I have not noticed this until I installed the latest patch.

Will this spawning of objects cause lag in the game. My game eventually crashed on that island. Also, I noticed in the woods, I could not place buildings (this terrain can't be flattened) because actuall Tree and shrub decorations were on the spots that I wanted to use for other buildings. Does Kalypso put decorations out in the woods etc? (looks like trees, shrubs but on concrete platforms that are placed around the palace etc.) inorder to fill up the land scape or is this yet again spawning objects?

Won't spawning of objects in any game cause lag etc.?and crashing when the game is generating stuff on it's own?

Oh, and they are not the red barrels used to destory buildings but the cans that are used in the Oil Well building, the silver ones with Danger on them. I had an oil well on that island but it was several streets over, and was clueless why these barrels/cans appeared in the street or why decorations were appearing out in the woods stopping me from placing buildings because they were blocking the land or it was saying it couldn't be flattened because these decorations were in the way.

I think I've had this happen to me before. I think it's mostly a glitch with the map generator adding random objects.

Thank you very much for replying. Wasn't that a problem in Tropico 2, too? Trees kept generating on islands? It is a real pain to have to delete the decorations (and there are a lot of them) when I need to place a road far from the palace and any building before I can. It happend again yesterday. It seems to happen more if you do not set veggitation slider to max. With fewer trees and shrubs the game generates more decorations and those barrels in spotted woods. I have to keep go to main menu to get a new island and start over. If I restart the same island, I never get the same mix of people which is annoying, too. ie: start an island that has a few high school educated people unemployed, restart it and you may wind up with none educated etc.Sad

I'm not sure what the problem you are describing for T3 is.

Speaking to T1 & T2 -- in those games there is a defined line between natural vegetation and some decorative items which appear to be vegetation. The player may place the decorative items and also plant some natural vegetation items. The decorative items do not change over time, whereas the natural vegetation goes through a life cycle.

So yes, natural vegetation would "spawn" or "sprout" in fertile areas; but it would be removed as a regular part of the site preparation phase of construction.

Sorry I never played T1 or T2 so I wouldn't know about the problem.
