How to Privatize new buildings?

How to Privatize new buildings?
I was noticing that all my buildings build after the privatization edict....arn't actually privatized buildings and are owned by me.

So Im wondering is this a glitch?...or will somebody eventually buy them?....if the latter, is the business suppose to get excellent service in order for them to buy it?


BTW I already found a glitch in privatization edict I believe.....I get the wheel barrow on top of my privatized business and non on my other business, I even build teamsters right next to them and made my roads better,nothing works.....Anyways I put that in the wheel barrow thread.

So how can private buildings get there production out then?....it's a bug right?

Well that sucks, I thought all my new buildings could become private,whats the reason behind that?

The can't. IMO it is a bug or rather a serious flaw in design of this feature. Sadly the developers see it different.

Again a (IMHO questionable) design decision to make this a pure one-time thing. The deeper reasons for that haven't been communicated (yet?)

Both issues together ruin that edict for me. It is another case of a feature which does not properly fit in the rest of the game. It is just there for the sake of being there (you can say now that Tropico 3 allows a private economy - doesn't that sound fantastic?) and maybe to serve as emergency tool if you desperately need money.

The privatization edict is a one time thing. it only work ones per game and you can't re-issue it afterwards.
