That last one looks like Mortis' version of Santa in a shopping mall for the undead. In an awesome way, of course.

Come, sit on Sinta Claws' lap, and let him know what you want for Mortmas..

I wish Kalypso would give us an idea of a release date for this.

Looks amazing cant wait for it to be out in english, i just hope we get a bit more choice in picking our main hero this time than, in core game allowed.

But i dont get why its called resurrection, i mean mountain clans did raid UD capital, but they dident actually kill Mortis. Also why have something revolving around Ferre stealing some artifacts would be much more interesting to have something tied in with Nagas seeing as she is their creator and possibly more indepth about their relationship.

What does the mage hero look like? My favorite hero was the banshee XD I actually used that as my main hero through the whole campaign. Oddly enough when she had 100% hit and high armor she became pretty strong, taking even a capital was a simple feat. Of course I assume she no longer is in the game as the other rod bearers in any form. I am hoping the mage hero is completely redone cause I couldn't stand the old one. Sounded and looked liked (the stuff she wore) like a musky old hag.

I agree with Wenla! I want a map editor & more SP maps like HoMM series! Campaign is fun & all, but SP maps makes a game last!

Bit same as choosing your hero made game last longer in D2, because you had more options to play around with unit setups and all, i hope they give more skirmish maps, give back export and import hero and a translated map editor.

I always thought Nosferatu was one the most Imba hero, and made taking cities with right rank and gear so easy that it was a walk in the park.

I don't know. It was very very easy for me to take capitals. I have done it with only a banshee and 1 trooper vs the guardian lol. I could take on more if I had a phantom warrior but usually by that time she had 2-3 leadership. Vs an army, she could just say, your hero is never doing anything this whole combat unless you had priestess I think? EVens o those died pretty fast if I went deaths or wights. Granted this was vs the computer.

I sort of wish they had a female vampire, would of made things a bit more interesting then having the same male vampire as a hero and a trooper. Too much Count Dracule going on lol.

Well, I think the prospect of capturing a capital with only a banshee and one fighter will be much harder now if not impossible considering that the capital guardians are now immune to paralysis. Anyway, been looking at the new pictures and I must say the units are looking good, although I cannot take the picture of that spider tree out of my head, urgh XD

I think the spider tree is a interesting and original idea, i am bit more disappointed with how much the wyvern and undead dragons looks alot like the Legion of the damned gargoyles like they dident really bother with coming up with something different and more less just retextured it.

EDIT: one thing interesting thou is we might get more setup options now seeing as we wont get the immune to death magic now fighting neutral undead with got in D2, but rather just a reduction in damage instead now.

Which was needed. When I made custom maps and I wanted a mob hard, I made it immune to death and earth (incubus' para ability). I can't recall if it would let me change the guardians but I don't think it did which was a pain.

I have to say, mistress Mortis did some great job with our units, but we need to have a talk about those bottle openers aka Death dragons and spider trees. We're going to be the laughing-stock of the whole Nevandaar if our enemies see them. Better go talk to Prusheen about locking them up in some dark and damp dungeon.Big Grin

RE: Disciples III: Ressurection of Mortis addon
To be honest i am wondering more how they will work out the army roles, i notice in D3 they been working alot more into what roles the different unit choices should fill.

For instance Legion of the damned they made demons more tank roled in this one, while making the warrior units more low wounds and dps oriented then opposed to D2 where they were basically the same except demons filled 2slots and had more HP.

So wonder how they plan on making a role division according with wyvern/dragons and Lich/vampire, so each them makes sense taking in their own right.

hehe - agreed. Kinda wish they went a 'scaly' route, but they still look cool overall.

Thanks for the links.

Speaking of which, does anyone else think that titans, fiends, gargoyles etc. is OP and broken?

RE: Disciples III: Ressurection of Mortis addon
@Lowenhart
Well, they could make the Wyverns, Doomdrakes etc. like they were in D2 - area damage support units with high HP or they could give them some skills like the Negative Energy Breath for the Dracolich which has a chance to bestow one negative level on every enemy unit on the battlefield but Dracolich would then have reduced stats and HP. So the choice is:
D2 like support units or support units with reduced stats and HP compared to D2 units, but with some unique skills. As for Vampires and Elder Vampires the same could apply to them. Personally, I've never used them in D2. I went more along the route of paralyze everything, ask questions later so my squad looked like this: Huunreh, 2 Phantom Warriors in the front row, Shade and Archlich in the back row.
@Banshee
I can agree that the Titans and Fiends are OP, but not the Gargoyles. Actually, their Statue ability has been changed many times with the patches, so I'm guessing there have been complaints from the russian players to warrant the changes to the skill.

You don't really play with this broken stuff as elves, do you ? We modded it to 35HP/1turn and 70/1turn instead of 75/10turns and 150/10turns which is completly out of balance. I think this should be added to the community fix too.

I think nothing can fix her sunburn Wink .

Resurrection probably closely relates to the story of the lovers.

I also predict the MC expansion is also going to start with R.

But all these balance problems can be fixed by modding. Why should I keep imba elven spells just to counter imba demon units ?

Whats imba about the fiend, damage ? Reduce it. Whats imba about the witch, transformation ? Reduce duration.
I do not plan to wait for expansion to fix stuff I can mod. I hope they fix their hardcoded bugs which are plenty.
