Also, I think that was the Skeleton Warrior and Skeleton Champion in that movie. Warrior was the one standing behind and the champion was the one moving forward. They look great! Praise be to Mortis!

I agree with Wenla! I want a map editor & more SP maps like HoMM series! Campaign is fun & all, but SP maps makes a game last!
Bit same as choosing your hero made game last longer in D2, because you had more options to play around with unit setups and all, i hope they give more skirmish maps, give back export and import hero and a translated map editor.

Oddly enough when she had 100% hit and high armor she became pretty strong, taking even a capital was a simple feat. Of course I assume she no longer is in the game as the other rod bearers in any form. I am hoping the mage hero is completely redone cause I couldn't stand the old one. Sounded and looked liked (the stuff she wore) like a musky old hag.
I always thought Nosferatu was one the most Imba hero, and made taking cities with right rank and gear so easy that it was a walk in the park.

I don't know. It was very very easy for me to take capitals. I have done it with only a banshee and 1 trooper vs the guardian lol. I could take on more if I had a phantom warrior but usually by that time she had 2-3 leadership. Vs an army, she could just say, your hero is never doing anything this whole combat unless you had priestess I think? EVens o those died pretty fast if I went deaths or wights. Granted this was vs the computer.
I sort of wish they had a female vampire, would of made things a bit more interesting then having the same male vampire as a hero and a trooper. Too much Count Dracule going on lol.

@Lowenhart
Well, they could make the Wyverns, Doomdrakes etc. like they were in D2 - area damage support units with high HP or they could give them some skills like the Negative Energy Breath for the Dracolich which has a chance to bestow one negative level on every enemy unit on the battlefield but Dracolich would then have reduced stats and HP. So the choice is:
D2 like support units or support units with reduced stats and HP compared to D2 units, but with some unique skills. As for Vampires and Elder Vampires the same could apply to them. Personally, I've never used them in D2. I went more along the route of paralyze everything, ask questions later so my squad looked like this: Huunreh, 2 Phantom Warriors in the front row, Shade and Archlich in the back row.
@Banshee
I can agree that the Titans and Fiends are OP, but not the Gargoyles. Actually, their Statue ability has been changed many times with the patches, so I'm guessing there have been complaints from the russian players to warrant the changes to the skill.
