Yay introduction *o*
Lol I read the first post and thought 'since I'm bored I should go and introduce myself' hehehe so here I am even though I already posted somewhat times. so here it goes:

Heya,

My name is Debbie, Debsjen is one of my nicknames as is Deb(yes I'm a girl), well I could go on and on about nicknames but really beside the point here XD I'm bored-ish and hyper atm, so... I'm 24 years old and from the Netherlands, a P2 player as long as I can remember. I'm quite silly and can drag topics on forever if I need too, always honest not always nice, I will haunt these forums till you want to get rid of me MUWHAHAHA *o* just kidding XD although I wasn't kidding about the haunting part ^^; Should I list my hobbies? Or just go on? oh well.

Atm I'm in between school and jobs, well gotta hand in my last assignment from my last internship and then I'm certified for Hotel Management. So when ever I get I job I will disaapear q._.p well not disappear, but appear less XD

Well anyway long story short I'm here for Patrician 4, and planning on staying >.o

If you got any questions ask away, I will answer truthfully if you ask the right questions >.o

See ya

what you want isn't always what you need and what you get isn't always what you want, deal with it!

Nice introduction!

Just came back from a walk with the dogs (I think Ialready wrote this ... but where???Smile).

I got some days off, so I turned into a night active person (as always when I have free time to spend). This is why I use Nachtschatten (engl. Nightshadow) being my forum-nick. In RL it was a real nickname some years ago.

... and now I'm going to play P4 for a while and wait to get tired enough to go to bed.

Oh, I got a question to be answered:

When I look at this

Quote:... I'm 24 years old and from the Netherlands, a P2 player as long as I can remember...

I ask myself: "UH, she can not remember a long term of time, but why???" Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Enjoy the Night

Lol lol I know where you wrote it XD But well about your nickname, it's a good nickname. Although if I would try to read that nickname in dutch it would say Night treasures XD

Well I already went to bed because I'm supposed to turn in my last paper today, I really can't postpone anymore XD

And for the remembering part, well let's just say I can't remember when I bought P2 XD I must have been arround 18 years, but not sure XD

And If I want to get tired I should not play P4 since I can play forever, when I need to be tired I need to go lay down and close my eyes and sleep XD

RE: Yay introduction *o*
Lol fresh kind of writing hehehe I guess I'm too enthusiastic when I write and I wish everybody was more active. I like talking about P4, well I kinda like talking about everything XD I had been thinking about haunting the german P4 part too, but everytime I start to read German I get tired ._. Man I got no problems with English, Spanish or French, but when I start in to read German -_-; I get nervous speaking German, while I don't have that with other languages >.>

Oh well I like that you like my kind of writing *o* I'll try to keep coming everyday and sometimes I react seriously, but at some subjects I can't answer seriously *points to last post at refund topic*

Oh well I had something in mind that I'll be doing today in this forum(read. P4 forum) >.o

noooo I'll convert you all to the debsjens way of thinking, which isn't a real bad thing on it self and besides I really couldn't care less if you are from the moon or Pluto, as long as you aren't from the US XD just kidding >.o. At least everybody would be a lot more honest with each other hehehe no more beating around the bush, but instead just go right to the root of the problem and annihilate it *o* that's so much fun *kill kill kill* (*_*) *stab stab stab*

Nah My teachers think I should bark less at people, and I'm trying, but what is it difficult not to bark *Woof* XP But they do say I shouldn't bite heads of people as much, but well here in the forum I relatively friendly ^^;

College is school too >.o

And about the impress thingy I think you mean this one:
m·press 2 (m-prs)
tr.v. im·pressed, im·press·ing, im·press·es
1. To compel (a person) to serve in a military force.
2. To seize (property) by force or authority; confiscate.

Oh well either way my sentence doesn't really matter in this way hehehe I already am compelling you to serve as a debsjen slave hehehe XD Or more so you feel compelled to do so XP Compel is a good word, it's from the latin word compellere...and rambling again hehehe XD

I didn't want you to think I was 14 or something..

Bah, being a friendly coworker is overrated. If you are nice to them, they get the illusion that you care about what they have to say, or what's going on in their lives. I don't know about you, but most often with me that's not the case Tongue. Screw 'em.

Also, cmon now, what do your teachers know? Sometimes I wonder if mine misinform me deliberately in order to force me to understand the material. They always underinform the class in general. Some have a tendency to mail you surprise assignments in the middle of the night. Do they do that in hotel managementTongue?

Here's another guess that will almost certainly be wrong: I'm assuming you majored in either sociology or business administration. Don't ask for rationale. Well, maybe not sociology, that's majoring in being a spineless kissass, and while you are Dutch, you don't seem to be too much of a spineless kissass. Personally, I view them both as majors for the weak and incompetent. Big GrinTongue

As per Debsjen slave, I'm pretty sure you're already a slave to English. >: D

Lol I didn't think you were 14, I knew you were 22 *points to profile*

Nope they don't send us surprise assignments, but they give us surprise years *o* lol to explain in short, At the beginning of my course they explained how the years would go and what we would learn and so on and since then every year it changed to something else XD So well no they don't bother me in the middle of the night hehehe XD

My teachers know me pretty well, but they also know that it's being said to someone who doesn't listen well to teachers XD

And unfortunately for you, you are wrong that I majored in either of those. XD And I won't be doing anything with with my hotel management certificate anyway, since I want to become a chef and then do my master in pâtisserie. Lol I just like to talk and I'm way too honest to be a kissass although my life would get far more simple if I were to kiss some asses.

Well I'm no slave to English, English is my slave and I use it as I see fit >.o Since English is not my native language I'm most likely screwing over the English grammar on a daily base *o*

Uh, looking at my profile? Do you like how nice and blank it is?

And you want to be a chef. Spit in anybody's foodTongue? Everyone I know who works in a restaurant or something of that nature has at some point. Gotta punish the arrogant bastards/no-tippers/people that keep you there 45 minutes after closing/cost hagglers, even if they don't know itWink.

So you can talk with brick walls? Ahem, sososo, not good, not good.............Tongue

That brings the following to my mind:

When God speaks to me, it's called psychosis.
WHY?"

Very easy:

And well it would be funny as hell to hear you speak dutch, I would have a field trip if that happened, since the English accent in dutch is so funny to hear XD Although I hate when our politicians try to speak english, they all have such an annoying dutch accent that I'm like >.< go back to school and learn to speak proper english>.< Although I'm not sure if I have the same accent as they have, oh god I hope not. ._.;

Ah. The only reason I go into someone's profile is to give a stupid rep point. Big Grin +1 for speaking English! Tongue

Here in tip-land, the tales of spitting in people's food are endless. Some of my friends worked at Dominoes (crappy pizza place). They had an issue with groups of Mexicans coming in about 10 minutes before the place closed, staying an hour or so late, and not leaving a dime for tip. So, everyone added a "special ingredient" to compensate for their misery. Gross, I know. But sort of funny. And there are countless other instances as well. Nonetheless, it's good to see your confidence in your ability to chew out peopleSad. Scared me a bit there.

No, I am not a math major. I would never major in such a trivial area. Haha. I'm a chemical engineering major. It's fun. I admit we as a whole can be rather opinionated and so on. (My friends and I often joke around about taking a course in condescension to other majors. Often times other people don't get it. It's kind of funny and kind of a pain.). I believe more and more that my major turns one into a jaded elitist and an avaricious narcissus. A considerably quantity of challenging course work gives one a deep-seated hatred of the lazy and stupid, as well as contempt for those who are out drinking while you are stuck trying to figure out some poorly construed software package. Zero people skills? Cmon. I have been accused of being antisocial, as well as not thinking before I speak, but those two allegations are obviously baseless speculation Rolleyes.

As per guys being screwed up, well, Big GrinTongueRolleyes. That sums it up pretty well. Are you sure you're not the one messing them up? Or, it might just be Dutch..

Also, it is rather easy to get trapped into being a stoic. For instance, I was trying to help a girl who was a business major going for a chem minor. Needless to say, she was a dumb as a rock. Furthermore, she had this tendency to go on these feminist rants and tell me about how stupid men are. If she wasn't gorgeous she would've had no redeeming qualities. Maybe we are stupid.. Nonetheless, when I was trying to describe things, she would often yell at me, telling me to speak English. There's irony for you. If I ever used any "science" words or showed a trace of an advanced vocabulary, she'd be entirely oblivious. Also, if I got stumped by something for a bit, she would constantly make fun of the way I act when I am deep in thought. It made things.. challenging. Unnecessarily challenging.

While it would be hilarious right now if she was DutchBig Grin, she wasn't. She was Italian.

Also, it's a forum. No worries about accent. Big Grin

Yush, english speeeking ferry goot XP

Well the spitting thing is fun untill you draw the short stick ._.

Lol but even in your major there are lazy and idiotic people XD Hmm I never actually said you have zero people skill, since you are not a math major, and technically we haven't met hehehe XP

Yush I mess up all guys(men) in the entire world with my (non-existing) seductive powers XD What's a girl got to do else with all that free time on her hands, I could do something useful and save world from some kind of disease or make world peace, but what's the fun in that XP I rather drive men crazy, because it's fun to do *o* (I didn't use much sarcasm did I XP)

lol *cough*sheisrightmenarestupid*cough* XP hehehe
I think you consider people fairly easily as dumb as a rock XP Well being gorgeous isn't really a good quality since it withers away fairly easily and if you don't use it while you have, yes then she is stupid hehehe XD
Lol all that teasing seems like she had a crush on you WHAHAHAHA sorry it's just too funny since how you tell it I picture children from kindergarten teasing each other when they like each other hehehehe XD

If she was dutch, she wouldn't say speak english but she would say"speak dutch" XD and I doubt it would be hilarious, because then you might have been cowering under your bed by now XP

Not worried about my accent just went on a rambling mode hehehe, it happens from time to time and then by the end I think "I was trying to make a point somewhere, but I forgot." that pretty much happens when your brain demands you to write down everything you think XD and I also have my scatterbrain moments, I love those moments and they are mostly pretty funny XD

Yes, there are some lazy and idiotic people, but at least they suffer for being so >: D And often times more than half of the freshmen who started as engineers do not finish as engineers. There's Darwinism for you.

Also, while it can be entertaining, driving people crazy is rarely worth in the long run.. with a few exceptions. >: D Crazy people tend to be rather destructive. So, in order to avoid a bad situation, you should simply put them down. >; )

Hearing the whole *men are stupid* thing gets old very quickly. Rolleyes And nearly every conversation we had degraded into that very quickly. Also, I'm pretty sure she just wanted help to get by the class. And she was seriously dumb.

And gorgeous is a good quality Tongue. It completely compensates for having no soul, being chock full of baggage, and being useless in almost every capacity Rolleyes. Yes, beauty does wither away in time.. but hey, what doesn'tWink?

Lol I think it's almost with every course that half of them won't make it to the end. At least it was for mine, third year we only had 13 people left of the 30 that started. And from those 13 one stopped in the last year >.> and another failed. How the hell can you fail something that is almost impossible to fail. The assignments are piece of cake and if you make it through the internships you can't possibly fail >.> or so I thought, but that one guy failed. I've always been pretty good at studying if the subject interests me else I don't do more then needed, which means I don't do anything at all and still pass. I dislike doing math, not interesting enough, we had an idiot for an teacher who could never make me interested in math so I blame him. Chemistry, biology, languages and history were fun to do since they were interesting.

Nuuuu, driving them crazy is way better and good for the soul. Since if others are crazy then you are sane, or maybe in the end they are sane and I'm crazy. Hmmm that would be an interesting perspective.

Lol then I shouldn't tell you that joke about god giving men two brains and they can only use one at a time. And well since you were saying she was gorgeous you weren't thinking with the brain in your head XP

Well what doesn't wither away, easy, being a pain in the butt doesn't wither away it even grows stronger after decades XP oh and if you want I can list more qualities that don't wither away XP

You can always fail through laziness/senioritis..

Driving them crazy is still not a good option. Do you know how many friends I've had to talk down from doing something woefully stupid because some girl was doing too good a job screwing with their head? It's pitiful.

Also, I ALWAYS think with my "brain in my head." Always Rolleyes. Well, it's difficult at times. Some women really do try hard to make it so that you don't. Then they wonder why you aren't. It's.. rather ironic. Some are very good at doing so, some aren't. This one, eh, well, it was probably all that she was good atTongue. Damn cheerleaders..

Next, I am not worried about what will happen in decades. I am worried about what will happen in a few months, tops. Worrying about anything farther in the future than that is pointless. There will always be new things to worry about Wink. If I did pursue long term relations, and she turns out to be just a stupid pain in the butt, well, it was an honest mistake.

Lol I was waiting for you to type something interesting, bleh you failed XP

Although you are pretty hung up on the relationship thing. I'm glad I'm dutch and not American with their entire dating etiquette XD No sex on the first date, who did thought up that rule. Meh another good thing is that I'm not relationship material, or that's what my male friends tell me hehehe I doubt any of them views me as a female. I'm just Deb to them, but I think it's mostly since I like the same things as the average male XD

Ah well and sometimes you need to think with your second brain, it would be fun if I had one, although I do not want to be male at all, although for just one hour I would want to know what it feels like to be one. Do they really think so differently from females or is that just some myth created by women who failed to notice that the male's blood is as red as the female's blood.
I doubt that men think differently then women, or maybe it's just that men worry less then women do. But some men worry just as much. I doubt there is a very big difference just the paths we take are different.

Lol I think you need a real difficult girl to keep you entertained, one that throws rocks so you can throw back. Or maybe you are more one for the quiet type, nah I think my first assumption is the correct one XD

Gee, interesting? O cmon..

Well, it's good to see you are comfortable with your manliness. Tongue I didn't take you for the tomboy type. We have several girls like that in the engineering department. Engineering women are either manly or crazy feminists. Some manage to be a combination of the two Wink.

As per differences between how men and women think, I do think they are different; this is partly due to instinct and partly due to self-righteous pretension. "No I'm better than you!" "No, you've got it wrong, I'm better than you!" and so forth.

Oh, and that "second brain" helps to rope you into relationships Tongue. It serves little other practical purpose. I mean, if I did enter a relationship with that girl she'd obviously be (for the most part) simply a financial parasite. But, because of my second brain, I may tolerate that for long enough to make an even larger mistakeRolleyes.

Oh yes, and quiet compliant girls, while typically very easy to get along with, are just so damn boringTongue. I find that I'm drawn to women who have a little more.. passionWink.

I'm not exactly a tomboy type, in truth I can be a bit rough at times, but I'm just as comfortable in pants as I'm in skirts ^^ I just like a lot of the things that the average man does, like I'm obsessed with all kinds of sports, but that's mostly due to watching too much sports. And for half of my life I lived with my father and brother, we have a saying that would be loosely translated: with who you deal with you will be infected with. In short that would be the people you hang out with or are family will affect your thinking and doing in life>.o

Hmm I do not agree with you on the differences with men and women, I know for sure I can do a lot of the things a man can do, but not all, just like they can't do everything I could do.

Lol you do have an twisted way of thinking about women, or maybe the women that you know are like that. My male friends mostly have girlfriends that are independent, they can all provide for themselves and some earn even more then the men do XD
And always when I get something from someone, then I feel obligated to give them something back. Or maybe that's just a part of how I've been raised, probably also why I don't believe much in marriage or relationships, but that also can be due the fact I have yet to find the right guy or girl.

but isn't the saying still waters run deep, the quiet girls might be quiet, but I know for a fact they can be quite entertaining hehehe XD Passion is fairly overrated, another thing that withers away easily if you don't nurture it correctly XD But real passion is hard to find now a days, some are passionate about one thing, but rarely are passionate in everything in life XD

Yes, yes, you are what you hang around, and so forth...

Also, my view of women isn't too twistedRolleyes. I mean, yes there are handfuls of self-sustaining women; I know many myself. However, there are several others who probably just see you as someone who could potentially pay good child support X( and I do not like the thought of that one bit. Let me point out again that she was very dumb and certainly showed above average golddigger tendencies. Some women think they are worth every dime you have because they are "gracing you with their presence." Oh yeah, and *pukes at gay marriage reference*

Yes the quiet girls can be entertaining, but they often completely blindside you and you've absolutely no idea how to deal with them when the do something out of character. The more fierce ones force you to always be preparedWink for their angry voice/crying fits/jealousy rants/bouts of over-territorial behavior. That, I assure, does not wither with timeWink.
