I just got T4 for my pc, but the scroll speed is too fast. It's about twice as fast as T3. I looked through all the options menus and can not find a way to slow this down. Any suggestions?

I'm sorta used to it by now, but I was shocked at the scroll speed myself! I think it has to do with the more optomised graphics (T3 stuttered a lot when scroling, even on a poweful PC). I was really surprised not to find a "scroll speed" setting in the options - I though pretty much every game made in the last 10 years had one.

The good news is: this is very much the kind of thing that can quickly be added in a patch.

The devs pretty much said it's our problem, not theirs though :/

i honestly didnt really notice this.. No clue how hard it would be to add a slider but if easy why not?

personally i just quickly move my mouse to scroll in short movements, when ya get good at it you can move over a block quickly..

Where did they say that? Are they posting on another forum as well?

I was about to start a topic on this subject when I found yours.

It's pretty much driving me batty that when my mouse gets to the edge, my screen goes shooting off somewhere way way the hell off to the distance.

It really needs to be toned down and perhaps given a slider to allow the player to adjust how fast it scrolls.

Haha I am kinda used to this by other games. I catch myself many times going back and forth trying to keep the camera at the spot I want or I end up zooming fully out.

Still no fix on this? To me, this takes away from the fun of the game. I will not play T4 until it is fixed. To bad, I really liked T3, and was looking forward to playing T4.

Hi dovelamore, after patch 1.05 the scroll speed is configurable from the Options menu. The patch has been out for quite some time now.
