RE: Patch on the 7 september?
Yea I just got on Steam & it downloaded a 198.9 MB patch for Tropico 4. I couldnt find anything about it tho. I havent seen anything mentioned by any of the devs on the forums yet either. Any devs know whats in the patch or have the patch notes?
I havent really ran into any of the bugs yet either so I dont know what I can test. Which island has an arch rock over it? I could test that one I guess......

Oh I know, I'm about to go see if they added the cement factory & plantations to the build menu.
Nope cement factory & plantation still arent in the build menu. I'm kind of surprised. This seems like a HUGE bug. You can build them if you assign a hotkey to them but they are nowhere in the build menu. Thats crazy.

I'm not sure what the patch did. Nothing that I can tell at first glance. Probably fixed most of the bugs that Lyuba said they were aware of the other day......

RE: Patch on the 7 september?
Have not received a patch on the retail release so my best guess is that it is the missing challenge editor that had effected the steam release?

RE: Patch on the 7 september?
This update included the challenge editor and nothing else. Bug fixes will come in a subsequent update.

Oh ok. I'll probably never use the challenge editor so this doesnt mean much to me. I hadnt even noticed it wasnt included. Wink

RE: Patch on the 7 september?
Any "proper" patch/update will have a changelog from now on, regardless of platform. Boxed retail versions of the game will obtain their updates automatically and exclusively via Kalypso Launcher.
