RE: System Requirements
My system:
XP
P4 2.8Ghz
1.5GB DDR
Geforce FX5600 256MB (driver 93.71)

I've tried the demo and found it unplayable because the mouse cursor is very jerky/jumpy, even on the menus. I also noticed that the graphics constantly freeze momentarily, making it look very jerky (especially noticeable on the people moving around).

The graphics options defaulted to everything off or on Low except for Textures, which was on High but I changed that to Low. I also dropped the resolution down to 1024*768.

I think my card is better than a Geforce 3 so would have expected the game to play better than it is. Are these problems just due to my card and what would be the minimum card that wouldn't have them?

Incidentally, I also had to drop the acceleration on my soundcard in Windows because otherwise when the Tutorial speech was being played, it was very broken up and choppy.

RE: System Requirements
It's strange...i have a 1.7 ghz processor and only 512 MB ram and it runs fine (of course not on the highest detail setting).

The FX series cards are bargain bin. I suspect that is where your problem lies.

Doveman: Id recommend you buying a new system. That graphics card is a budget value graphics card for like..year 2004 I think..thats along time ago. You should think about saving up some cash and just go crazy!

Anguille: I bet if you get another 1 gig of RAM..you might get a large FPS gain!

RE: System Requirements
I'm planning on building a Core 2 Duo system when I can afford it. It's not really worth spending much on a graphics card for my current system as it will be held back by my CPU.

I might stick an ATI HD 2xxx in it sometime though, as it's going to be a dedicated PVR once I build my new system.

RE: System Requirements
When you do have the money saved up...make sure to build every new...Just the rig..not the monitor or anything like that.

When ever you do decide to buy a new rig...I hope you can build one??? much cheaper to buy parts rather than a built rig. Anyway..I will help you..iam a spec techy! so I can help you get the best rig for your cash!
