I have been browsing a few islands, and most of the really high scores seem to be really pathetic islands, but just lots of money. I notice that the latest patch fixed exploits where it was possible to make infinite money.
I wonder if a reset of the ladder is being considered, because as things are now the high scores and saved islands are a complete waste. Time will not solve the problem either as it's impossible to compete with these scores that just have stupid amounts of money.

I have browsed several high score islands now, and yet to see one deserving of praise. The cheating is obvious.

Rather disappointing. I was looking forward to the competitive side of tropico 4. Please reset.

Here's an example of why I find the online scores and competitive element of this game such a disappointment.
This is the top score for "Isle muerte"



For starters, this is not Isle Muerte. Nothing like it. This is just a flat square. Isle muerte has hills, bays, beaches etc etc.
Secondly you can click on the various industries, which are the main money earners. There are some cigar factories, an armaments factory and some jewelry factories. Their total profit doesn't come up to anywhere near the 27 million in the bank.

That is blatant cheating! I am really enjoying the game but the island score side is completely ruined.
