There will be all kinds of classes for ships. Frigates, cruisers, fighters, etc. And as we pointed out at the reveal press release and in some previews, all those classes are highly customizeable by using weapon, civilian and scientific modules on them which in turn host torpedo launchers, colonizing modules, laser beams, tractor beams, shields, you name it. And there will be no Uber-Ship in the late game. You will always have to balance your fleet very carefully to succeed.
Multiplayer: There will be multiplayer via Internet and LAN. Also highly customizeable in terms of winning conditions, races, factions, universe density and scale, resources, etc. We can not yet state how many players will be able to play against each other but of course we are aiming at the highest number possible. Also, there will be a coop mode in which two players can build up one empire together.

Sounds good?
Well it sounds damn good to me actually. Balancing ships and fleets is such a pain in the ass in these types of games, but I guess it's always dead end since this task takes a lotta time. And this coop mode seems pretty interesting. I always imagined a game where you could do such a thing, building an interstellar empire with a friend, yay!
Pretty good idea, guys.
Legends Of Pegasus is one of my favorite Kalypso pickups for next year. The story from the Demonicon also kept my curiosity burning and I saw the cam video. Must buy! So that's why you should release a video soon!
I already bought an x360 and some Kalypso games for it; these two will definitively be kinda sad that LOP won't see daylight for the 360, it would be cool to see it runnin' in the living room. These games require some extra patience and it's better to be sittin' in a couch or something more comfy than a chair in front of a pc display.
Ok Turner you really sound like a bot. *G* And your post does not make sense at all. This game is not out until next year. And it will not be out on Xbox 360 I am afraid. The interface and gameplay are still too complex to implement gamepad controls. Furthermore, we do not want to overburden the developers. They are a small, newly founded studio which is doing great work and we want to put out a really polished first game. So sorry, not Xbox 360 or PS3 version.
He is a Bot or a payed poster.
Look at his other posts. On the one hand he could be a testbot to see how good the mods are reacting. On the other hand such an account could be used to build up some reputation and then spam link.
If he is a payed poster, he is just copieing the same posts. He is not the first one of this spammers.

Thanks Chris. I didn't mean to be a pain in the a** like this other dude.
I got amazed with these shots since the first time I saw them. This looks like a very promising title with amazing and detailed scenarios and ships.
It's been a while for me since my last real solid time playing titles such as this one. I guess customization is a key here and mods too. One thing really cool too (I know, I'm just adding my opinion here) will see this title available on steam since retail pc gaming can be really complicated outside North America and the EU.
