I checked the FAQ and the bugs report thread. Nothing there. I'll have to admit that now I'm starting to get really miffed. On Pat IV rise of a dynasty I used to be able to log in normally and play on the coop server. Today, however, the game told me that I could not do so because I did "not register" on the kalypso launcher. So I contacted support@kalypso.com You know what AOL told me? They returned my email. According to AOL, that email does not even EXIST. So I downloaded the kalypso launcher, figured I'd plug my code in there. Nope. Not enough spaces for my key code. Essentially all I want to know is what I have to do to use the product that I PURCHASED from Kalypso.

Is there nobody who can help me here?! Come on! Can someone even point me to an American line where I can contact the company? (I would prefer to not have to spend a dollar a minute calling the U.K.) Googling turned up nothing (besides the U.K. number). Am I just being stupid and missing something? And why is it so hard to contact Kalypso? Maybe I'm just being retarded and maybe I'm missing something, but I don't know what. I just want to use the product that I paid money for.

have you already registered an account at kalypso for the launcher?
are you able to login to your account?
can you make a screenshot of the launcher?

I'm not sure what your problem is - Can you load the Game? or Are you having problems getting a "sign in" to Coop mode after the game loads.

If you are unable to login to the multiplayer server then - can you connect to 78.46.74.55 this IP address and get a "Splash Screen" displaying IIS7 and with a URL of - https://gminds.de/ - sometimes this server goes offline or gets overloaded.

If you can't login to start the game:- then Support is "support@kalypsomedia.com"

Then I think you may have had an Internet issue to start with. Christmas Eve is a really busy time online - massive traffic.

Then the problem you have now maybe because the Launcher you downloaded may not be the one that came with your version of the game. I suggest that you completely uninstall both the Addon and then the original game. Preserve your saves but after running the uninstalls - check your APPS DATA to make sure that the KalypsoMedia folder is deleted.

Then reinstall using the original media (digital or disc) - from scratch - run all the patches through.

NOTE - If this is a STEAM VERSION then you get away with "Verify Local Content" in STEAM (LIBRARY - right click game - PROPERTIES - LOCAL FILES TAB)

Sorry, thought I was clear. You know how something can make sense to you because you experienced it?

I open up Patrician Four Rise of a Dynasty.

I hit sign in and it signs me in but informs me that I can only play on LAN as I did not "register with the kalypso launcher". So I went to the kalypso launcher and it didn't have enough spaces for my steam code (it was a steam purchase). That is my problem. I do not know how to solve this problem and a friend of mine (who also has a steam version) experienced the same problem about a week before I did. We both played coop together several times and then one day he said he "couldn't log in". There was a tiny bit of a language barrier (He's from the Dutch Netherlands) so I couldn't quite get what was wrong, but now I understand completely. So it had been letting me log in before that... Basically I need to know where/how I can redeem my steam code to solve this problem because I can't do that with the kalypso launcher. Or perhaps I wasn't entering the steam code correctly? I'm honestly not sure, neither the steam code nor the kalypso launcher gave me instructions to make steam codes enter-able (totally a word).

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but none of this is an issue. It's telling me that, all of a sudden, I can't play on coop as I was before because I didn't register the game with the kalypso launcher. The second part of the problem is that I cannot figure out how to register it on the kalypso launcher because my steam key does not fit in the code redeeming field. It has nothing to do with internet.

Didn't I address that? I tried to contact them there. Here's what aol told me:

Mathematically? There is 0% chance of that being the problem. Now, scientifically speaking, there is a 0.00000000% chance of that being the problem. My internet was and is fine. My dutch friend and I had the same problem so I doubt that it's a problem with the individual internetz.

What do you mean? Nothing came with the game. It's from steam. Although this does seem like something that would cause my problem. This is probably the path that I should explore in solving my issue.

Understand the problem not being able to "login" to the "Coop" server in game.

1. Are you connecting to the server? Try this - if you connect then the issue is with the user name you created when you registered.

2. You have a STEAM version so try "Verify Local Content" in STEAM (LIBRARY - right click game - PROPERTIES - LOCAL FILES TAB)

3 Failing that - try STEAM Support, and or Kalysomedia Support
support@kalypsomedia.com (you missed the "media" bit out of the email address.

If all else fails then post a screenshot of the error message. One of the moderators will normally respond

I'm the dutch man and I'm getting repeatedly "Hint: User is already logged in." I don't know how to fix this; It was working fine before.

i got the game out of the steamstore
i re instaled the game I just doont kno how to fix it

One of my real life friends was logging in on my computer, this was no problem. He logged in successfully.
When I tried to login after that, it still says "Hint: User is already logged in.".
So, the problem should be at my account.

Can you please take a look at my account, and maybe reset or modify something that I am able to play?

If some admin need further information or my in-game name to reset my account, please ask me.
