THANK YOU! That's the type of support I expect from such an excellent company as yours.

I am sorry I was upset, Morphine tends to make me kinda angry. I love your company and your games and will continue to support you by buying them and telling all my friends about them! Actually, after you fix this I promise to post on my facebook account how awesome Tropico 4 is! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Kalypso were(/are?) away due to the holidays... even they get a holiday.

The fact you got a reply on/since New Year's Eve is probably a good sign, as they'll be fighting their way through a backlog if they're all back.

Anyway, Steam's version handles DLC differently to the Kalypso launcher system. If you go to either:

On x64: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\tropico 4
OR
On x86: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\tropico 4

And then run "Tropico 4.exe" by double clicking, it might let you enter the DLC Code and play with it. Notably, the Steam version is different to the others. However, once it downloads the DLC, if you restart through Steam it should load it within the same account.

Sorry, but the DLC purchased from Gamersgate or anywhere else besides Steam will not work with your Steam version of the game. I'll make sure customer support will be in touch with you to offer a solution.

Unfortunately Gamersgate doesn't say anything about which versions their DLC works on, nor does Steam... :-( A refund would be cool, but I guess I have to talk to Gamersgate then, and now it's not on sale any more :-(

From what I'm seeing in the binary, if you launch using the binary, instead of through Steam, it should function like the normal launcher...

lol yeah I do, but no access to the steam DLC my brother bought me... lol... so I either get one or the other, but not both... So, if I can prove to you guys at Kalypso that I purchased both, can you give me a key for the steam version of Junta or the non-steam version of Plantador? Pretty easy fix to keep 2 customers happy and recommending your games to others :-)
