In tropic many want to play the EVIL capitalist and have private enterprise left and right everywhere!
A little sad thing about the Tropico build and privatization part of the game is that once a building is built it can’t be privatized. If you don’t destroy the building and reconstruct, it but that takes time. A little idea of a way of make a private sector large on the island could be that the Stock exchange generates a buy up nationalized building event that change the building in to a private owned. Or a button could be made to sell the building just like in this Photoshoped picture:



Labor is a large part of Tropico you build lumber camps, factories and restaurants and give people work. You do get an event sometimes telling you about a strike and production may be halted or you kill them or something else. But what if they make demands of a higher salary or other demands?

The private sectors workers could have the similar thing happen to them as well if the workers want a higher salary. The company either wants you to send the military, arrest they ask you what to do.
This some ideas on the top of my head.
