White Segmented Square
This is a question I have been meaning to ask for ages.

When I select resource buildings in the top left corner of the screen a white square appears. It is subdivided into 16 smaller squares with 9 filled white and the rest clear. It never seems to change pattern or appearance.

What is it? I Haven't been able to find it in any of the manuals, or on here.

Cheers in advance.

Yeah it is, how did I never notice that when looking at the overlays?!

Now my next question then: What is it supposed to show? 'Cause it never changes no matter whar overlay or building I look at.

Cheers

It's just there to indicate you are currently displaying an overlay, nothing else.

Ah, ok thanks. It seemed an overly convoluted design to be a simple indicator, so I figured it was perhaps supposed to be telling me something and I was missing it.
