I agree with what many people have said. You should have the option of keeping the old buldings.

It could add an extra dimention to the game in terms of happiness. For example: after the start of a specific decade (say 1980), citizens start to become unhappy if they don't have modern conveniences. That way the player will have to find a balancing act between retaining the old world feel and keeping the Tropicans satisified.

That's why they should consider recodings the missions to use both the new and older versions of buildings. It was either an oversight or some type of shortcut not to do it.If they want to say well we put $20 worth of content into this expansion I'd agree with that. I love the expansion and I'll dump 100+ hours into it easily. What I won't be doing is replaying the missions, and I always have in previous versions. My desire in buying the expansion was to have even more buildings, and the old buildings as well. I wanted more, more, and more. Sure I'll play around in sandbox but when I get bored with that I'd usually flip back and play the missions again. Only this time the missions are lacking so the game won't keep my interest as long as a result. It's an easy fix.

It seems to me that making money is alot easier (I managed to build every 'new' building at the end of one campaign from a couple of bio farms and 2 cannerys!)

and I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but i've found that natural increase/immigration seems to be alot slower? I'm always struggling to fill work spaces unless I build a immigration office and then they seem to come in 20s each boat load.

that is a great idea... Modern times is just screaming lack of outside feedback.. Just tweaking things a bit would really make this expansion incredible..

I'm not saying i have all the answeres, But it seems like many of us are all on the same page..

I honestly haven't noticed, but I'll keep an eye out. I sometimes like when progression is slow so that I don't have all of these unemployed workers and no money to build production buildings for them.

Immigration progression seems about the same to me - I get too many unemployed if I use open borders, and too few workers coming in if I'm using skilled workers, assuming I'm actively building. Which is just fine.
