Hi !

I want make Modern Times translate. I used HPK archiver for that. But.... File "english.hpk" contains only Tropico 4 texts, addon Modern Times must have a texts in another file.... But in which file :-) ? I tried many programs to found it, but unsuccessfully :-(

It's the file called Expansion.hpk in your Tropico 4\dlc\ folder. It crashes the HPK Archiver, though. The author might update it for you if you ask nicely.

I don't think Ford got around his ZLIB issues ... it's not really ZLIB, as he pointed out in a T3 thread.

As for getting the localisation data, you don't need to extract if you know what the table name is, you can just dump the table into the log, or, better still, write it into a file using standard Lua.

Could you kindly find the table (Isn't it TranslationTable?), make dump of English version of MT and MT-only and post it here for other volunteers to translate it into currently unavailable languages? I'd like to make a translation of MT, too. Full translation table with original, MT and all the previous DLC's would be next best.

A thread already got locked because someone asked for that ... so for obvious reasons, I won't.
