Hello all!

I played the demo for 5 hours in a row yestterday and as you understood I had to get the game. A friend of mine bought it today as a gift, b ut since he lives quite afar away he emailed me the CD keys. (Got modern times as well) and told me that I should be able to download with the launcher.

However the launcher keeps telling me that the keys are invalid. Is anyone available to help me out? I already send an email to support@, but they aren't responding.

It has been resolved.

Apparently only Tropico 4 works now, but my Modern Times key is still invalid....

Contrary to what your friend told you, boxed version Modern Times keys can not be redeemed via Kalypso Launcher. I'm also wondering where you got the original game install from, as well if you omly had the product key.

My friend came over and brought me the boxes. What I meant to say is that the key for Modern Times doesn't work on the actual launcher (the program /.exe) I'm not talking about the web thingy. The store didn't want to give a refund, since I may have used it. So I'll probably buy a new one from your online store at the online launcher. (http://launcher.kalypsomedia.com/klx.php)

I'm planning to buy all the DLC's as well! I saw that you accused me of pirating, but I seriously wouldn't.

I just bought all the DLC's (with exception of Modern Times) since I found out the issue after going to the retailer. I've send this email to the support (with my ticket number in the topic line) to let them know that it was been resolved. I replaced my name with my forum handle for privacy reasons.

Dear Kalypso,

After contacting the store, it turns out that it was a mistake on both my and their end. The Tropico 4 key didn't work because I made a typing error when inserting it into the launcher. The Modern Times one turned out to be malfunctioning because it was returned by a customer that most likely used the key before. Since they weren't getting new stock, I'll purchase the Modern Times expansion later today at your online store or another retailer.

You can disregard this support request, seeing as it has been resolved.
