I have awesome tourism rating, 2 docks and airport, yet some of my hotels stays empty all the time...

Is there any tourists limit? And whats the population limit? And are they both counted towards that limit or separaterly?

Population is 1500, and guarded set by variable MigrationMaxCitizens.

Last I looked, Tourism is set by the dock and the airport. In vanilla T4 (i.e. no expansion) it's 200 I think. Haven't bothered to look at the expansion.

So you cant have more than 200 tourists? Sorry you wrote it wierd way talking about docks and airports and then posting what looks like hard limit on the amount of tourists that can be on the island

When I looked it it (in November?), I found that the immigration of tourists was handled by hardcoded limits on the dock and the airport.

No, as I said, from what I remember, there are hardcoded limits in the dock and the airport codes. If you want to modify them, or look at them, look at the Impl files for both.

On the 360 version the population limit has to be around 600. I've never had my population more than that and after awhile people just stop coming. Thats kind of the draw back of playing this on a console. You are limited to the hardware so some sacrifices obviously needed to be made. I know on the one campaign mission that results in a giant uprising my Xbox cries in pain when I have 500 people fighting in the streets...
