Steam Release Problems
I still can't unlock and install my preorder its been a long time now, almost 30 mins..

My friend solved his problem by giving steam support a ticked, but it still is a problem for me.. it just say I have the preorder and it will be released soon, no install or anything.

I will ofc update if my problem get properly solved


Problem solved, right away after I contacted steam support, so if you guys have any problem, contact steam support and keep trying to restart your steam client.

Restarting the Steam client will fix 99.99% of Steam-related issues ... ^^

Thank you, I still think the problem was steams as in (they did not unlock it) because it worked suddenly after the ticked... but alas, my weekend is saved, I look forward to play coop with my friends and I will return here in the weekend to give my take on your game Smile

For others having this issue I recommend you rename your ClientRegistry.blob file. That fixed it for me.

Here's another thing to try:

1. Close Steam client, open Windows-Explorer and navigate to your Steam installation folder (default C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\)
2. navigate to \steamapps\common\Port Royale 3\ subfolder
3. Run the following required third party component installers in this order, rebooting your machine in between all 5 steps if necessary:
3.1 \DirectXRedist\DXSETUP.exe
3.2 dotnetfx3.exe
3.3 dotnetfx35.exe
3.4 vcredist_x86.exe
3.5 Run Windows Update (via Windows Start Menu), make sure to download and install ALL critical and recommended updates
4. Restart Steam client, run Port Royale 3
