I have Tropico Reloaded from gamesplanet.com mainly for Tropico 2. I just discovered a patch via a fansite. The patch is not on the fansite they just link to fileplanet so it seemed reputable to me. After patching it requires a cd however, which I don't have as I dl'ed it. Is there any fix for this issue or an official patched patch? I appreciate any advice you can give as I love this game. It's not really Tropico but once you get over that who cares. Also, Pirates rock! (except real pirates, they suck).

it looks like that the patch was originally for the tropico 2 main version when it was released couple and couple of years ago and the patch has still the copy protection in it. so you have to uninstall the game and install it again. otherwise it will always ask for the cd.

That is unfortunate as they are selling the 1.1 version for some reason. I guess I will try a no cd patch from unofficial sources then.
