I Just got dungeons. Wasnt anything like I expected. But looks like an interesting game. It kind of thows you to the lions right off.

Im on the first dungeon and cannot find the stairs while controlling the main bad guy.

And to be honest Im a bit lost in the whole game. Are there any tutorials for this game or is this first dungeon it?

And where are those stairs?

I was confused too. Go to options and keyboard settings to set the pause button to P. Then you can take your time looking around while the game is paused. Use the minimap, which should show useful things. I believe the lever you need to use is on the left side of the screen. Not all the way, but in the left area.

The next couple of levels or so will act as a tutorial. Remember to get and use skill and attribute points.

The game is interesting, though I do have nitpicks about it.

The first dungeon is really only the prelude and you are not able to do a lot beside running around.

After this, the "real" tutorial starts explaining the mechanics of ruling a dungeon.

As Chad31 said, pausing the game is good for avoiding the heat of the battle for now. You have to find the lever and the closed door that leads to the exit stairs before you can walk there. Once you open the door, its just two rooms and a couple of meter to the exit.

Thanks for the help. Iv'e moved to next tutorial since. Kinda strange learning curve though. Makes you more curious about the game.

well the basics

Heroes enter your dungeon and entertain themselves by fighting monsters, picking up treasure, reading books, and visiting armor rooms.

gimmics you place let you place higher level items, and help lead the heroes around the dungeon to fight more monsters and get more gold, ext. which builds up the heroes soul energy.

then you use your dungeon lord to kill the heroes and send them to prison where you build soul energy for building your dungeon


As for building your dungeon lord,.. get fireball spell, and heal spell first.. by that point you should know enough to direct the rest of your character building.

a few well satisfied heroes seems to be better than tons of unhappy heroes storming towards your dungeon heart.. so kill them as you see fit.
