MyBB Interactive map (unofficial)
With JohnOnTheHighSeas' permission, I've created an interactive version of his great map, using the Google Maps API.

http://ipaddr.me/pr3/

You can also download the offline version:
http://ipaddr.me/pr3/PortRoyale3_Interactive_Map.zip

Thanks to -
Known problems -
  • Icons are repeated along the x axis, outside of the boundries of the map. I haven't been able to figure out how to stop this using v3 of the Google Maps API, so if anyone knows how to stop this (other than limiting zoom) please let me know Smile
  • There may be some inaccuracies with the data as it was entered semi manually, if you find any I'll fix asap.

Suggestions welcome!

This is really cool. Is it just me or does the map zoom out for everyone else when you click on one of the resource markers? Makes it so that I have to re-zoom in every time I choose a resource.

Other than that, it works perfectly, thanks for the awesome job!

Yep that was intentional, so when you click on a resource you can get the full picture of where goods are, (also happens when you clear markers), I'll add a checkbox later today which will toggle this behavior on/off, thanks for the feedback Smile

May I post this on my website at pccouncil.com? How should I do the attributions/credit?

Yep, feel free to repost/share/upload/edit/improve however you like, as long as the attribution is kept intact (its below the menu on the right).

It would be best to either link or iframe to the online version as then you wont need to manually update it when I make any changes, but of course its up to you.

A link is exactly what I am asking for. Thanks!
