A few days ago, Tropico 4 stopped showing the launcher and instead went straight to the game. Normally I would consider that an improvement, but my DLC isn't showing up. I got Modern Times, and had played it at least half a dozen times with no issues prior to this happening.

The first time this happened, it seemed to have lost all game settings, and the game started crashing on exit. I re installed, and then when that didn't work I deleted all profile data and re-installed again. It doesn't crash now and seems to be playable, but with no DLC and on the 1.0 version.

I got the game through Amazon if that matters.

I am having the same issue.

Make sure you don't have any third-party software running that may prevent the Launcher from starting properly. Also, .net Framework versions 2 and 3.5 are required in order for the software to run correctly.
