you need a captain with trading skill 4 or 5, create an auto route with one town.
For example Reval...trade iron goods and skins/furs, buy and sell these goods and you'll make money "with nothing"

thanks but i keep getting ship trade route no destination satisfied

The trade route needs the town to be entered multiple times.

Reval buy tools 350
Reval sell tools 350
Reval buy tools 350
Reval sell tools 350

and so on.....
