Misc. Questions
1. Will there be a demo?

2. How many planets/systems will there be in sandbox mode?

3. Will there be a tech. victory?

4. Will there be technologies involving psychic powers and, if so, can they be skipped without severely limiting game options/a tech. victory?

Thanks.

RE: Misc. Questions
Hi there!
Thank you for your interest in Legends of Pegasus. Here are some answers to the best of my knowledge:

1. No a demo is planned at the moment.

2. This depends on how you set up the game. Each galaxy and all the planets in it are randomly created based on the customization you make at game startup. A big galaxy can have around 60 systems with three to four planets at average.

3. There will be different victory conditions but I dont think a tech victory is amongst them. Will have to look that up though.

4. Hm I'm not quite sure what you mean. Could you clearify this?

Many greetings,
Chris

An example of what I meant is will there be technologies which, for example, could help find spies in your territory by the use of mind-reading; or, technologies with descriptions like, "You can now link with the universal consciousness to obtain knowledge more quickly." If I don't research said technologies, will it severely handicap me or not allow me to achieve a tech. victory?

Thanks.

Rob

RE: Misc. Questions
Well, there are technologies that can be used to see cloaked ships or to alter the morale of your colonies. But I would have to look deep into the tech tree to verify that there are really mind-reading technologies. Most surely it will not handicap you tremendously if you dont research these technologies. Sorry to ask but why is this important to you? Just trying to understand.

Thanks for your reply.

I am a Christian who doesn't want to "have to" research technologies which involve psychic powers, etc. in a 4x space game.

Thanks

Rob

I am also curious...why would that bother you as a Christian, to have research tech that involves psychic powers?

Little sense? This makes as much sense as trying to nail Jello to a tree

Psychic powers could be interpreted as occult, which is something, if you take the Bible literally, a good Christian shouldn't get in contact with. So, if you use that kind of logic a lot of religious people tend to use, it actually does make sense.

Are you sure it's not the EXPLOITATION AND EXTERMINATION part of the game that you should be worried about?

I a aware, but gamewise it is scentific research. It will be explained in maner of frequency, vibration and energy i suppose...as all of creation falls somewhere in that category. There is nothing occult about it tham, becouse its percived as scientific research...as occult means hidden, concealed.

We are talking about religious people: Logic doesn't havt to make sense.

Ummm... forum moderators? You might want to close this thread. Maybe this guy is a troll, maybe not. But past experience teaches us that threads like these become unpleasant rather quickly.

The above statement hits the nail on the head!
