Just reading the forums ect and wondering if anyone knows if the shields are in 2d such as front/back/left/right or in 3d with the same as 2d plus top/bottom? Or are they just a total number that have to be taken out first and don't have sides ? I'd love to see 3d shields to have to be micro managed!

Thanks for your interest. The shields are in 3D space around the spaceship. However, diminishing the shields of a ship just takes away from one total number.
