While in generally I love tropico 4 as many are aware it still has quite a few bugs that make it less fun(for example the mine upgrade bug). Plus I am also aware many of us would like the option to build BOTH classic and modern times building. Purely for an aesthetic reason if nothing else.

I honestly wouldnt mind paying for a DLC if they could add that feature.

I've spent 80 hours on the 20 missions from the base game, and I'm pretty exhausted. I think the Modern Times expansion is enough.

However, I would like them to do what Anno 2027 is doing, some online feature.

In Anno 2027, there is some online feature where people must complete Project Eden, a 3 part mission, before the deadline.
There are 3 factions in the game, and people voted for their favourite faction. The faction that wins the most votes, will get bonuses in all your games or something.

Tropico 4 has a lot of depth and I would like them to explore some of them a bit. Right now it is easy to satisfy all factions. There is no need to specialize to have more loyalists, more nationalists, more religious, more intellectuals, more capitalists, more communists, etc. It would be interesting to force the player to specialize in order to succeed.

but i have not see any offical word on anything coming. but from what i understand timo stated that T4 has sold better than aniticipated, though not sure i have seen mention about how MT or the other DLC has done.


Many would love to see a sandbox/challenge check box feature that would disable building removal on the timeline feature. (i can understand that this doesnt have to work under the campaign.


I'd also like to see some features added to the builder. Mainly more graphical terrain options that could effect tropicans and tourists

rocky mountains, and large rock placeables

mountain tunnels.. (placeable in the builder but you could connect roads to them as well.

Rivers, waterfalls

hot springs/guisers (think old faithfull, or hotspring pools for tourists, set up a spa on them for increased ratings, possibly tourist could use the pools

mud baths, On the same line as above..

if love a modders DLC...
