Unfortunately your hope failed. Game is unfinished, not tested product (seriously how you can launch game that is not able to load saved positions).

The sad thing is that's probably pretty close to how it went but if that is how it went then we will see lots of patches to make this game what they envisioned.

hahaha i actually enjoyed reading that quote from Nalim27 hahaha. Dunno if that is true but it sure was a lot of fun to read

Similar to my experience. Just replace the rapist with Kalypso

Give up all hope ye who ventured here. Is everyone enjoying the endless stream of game crashes so far? I know I am. Well, hopefully they pull some rabbit out of the hat in then next week or two. I wonder how Steam handles refunds, or do they? Well, we will see what the future brings. I can always play Endless Space, Sword of the Stars or Sword of The Stars II while they work to fix things.
