I dont see anything on the screen but terrain. No structures, no people etc. Running Windows xp, 2 gig ram, ATI radeon 1050 series. I can run all the other games I currently play including Warhammer Online with no problems. So whats up?

ATI Radeon 1050? Without Shader Model 3.0 support, that card doesn't meet the minimum system requirements for Tropico 3.

Too bad ;} wont be purchasing then.

the same with older DX8.1 nvidia cards, geforce 4 and 5.

on even older cards the game wont start, says it needs a card with hardware-directx9-features

Tropico 3 requires a fully DirectX9c-compatible graphics card with Shader Model 3.0 support (Geforce 6800 or ATI/AMD X1300 and later models)

Darn. I have the same problem. It seems my video card has reached the end of its era.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see if it will ever come to the PS3.

It looks great though; you guys at kalypso have really given Tropico a great new look.

You can always buy a new graphics card. Newegg.com has good deals. You gotta keep up with the times!
