Exclamation Resurrection Activation Fail
Launcher v1.2.0.19
Game v1.3
Digital Download GameStop (Impulse)

Installed, entered registration code. Game asks for Activation Account. My Forum account does not work, as expected. So a new account must be created, lame but done. What is this "activation account"??? Anyway...

  1. In order to play the game, an activation email is supposedly sent... never happens... the launcher will not continue until the activation email is activated.
  2. The launcher provides the means to "Re-send Opt-In-Mail" which also does not work.

Opt In my ass. It is register / create an "activation account" or "no game (soup) for you, 1 month". Tongue

RE: Resurrection Activation Fail
Which email provider are you using? We've had reports indicating that Comcast may be blocking the activation email from being delivered for some reason. Other than that, try checking your spam folder or filter settings. The activation emails from our server are sent automatically within seconds of registration and there are no hints whatsoever of this system failing.

RE: Resurrection Activation Fail
Provider is Cox. I did check junk and trash. Just sent several "Opt-In" requests with the same results. Furthermore, when I intentionally enter invalid username or password data the Launcher indicates "Wrong login or password.". Perhaps someone could verify whether the Launcher did indeed send an "Opt-In" request or your server did send an email to my email account.

RE: Resurrection Activation Fail
So after posting the above and leaving this game alone, the next morning there was a single activation email. I assumed someone at Kalypso fixed a piece of server code... I successfully connected and have been playing D3 Resurrection since then.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, (another day later), I received a second activation email. I can ignore this "Activation" email and still play D3R. Although I'm a little concerned, both were dated the 19th but delivered/received 24hrs apart. The first arrived on the 20th and the second today, the 21st. I also must have clicked on the "Resend" button a dozen times. I'm thinking I'll be receiving one "Activation" email a day for 10 more days and no change was made to the server...

We'll see. Rolleyes
