While it lasts..

So it looks like the regular retail price for T3 is $39.99 here in the US. Cool.

If you want the digital version, then Impulse lists it as a preorder of 10% off and their last newsletter dropped it down to about $32.50 but when I put it in my shopping cart, the price stays at $35.99 so I've not yet ordered it and may just give my business to Steam on this one.

Speculation simply says that it will also be selling it for $39.99 like the rest of the online distribution points. Whether they will have a "sale" at release or shortly there after nobody but steam would know.

Logically, it wouldn't make much sence for Steam to list it at $49.99 if the rest of the online distros are only charging $39.99

Valve doesn't think very logical when it comes to Steam... Lots of old games with big pricetags, some "gamepacks" are more expensive then buying the games one by one and you just try and tell them... They dont give a shit! Wink
But Valve doesn't have complete controle over the prices I would guess?

Valve don't set the prices, the game companies do.

That's what I understand it to be too. Valve may try to guide the publishers of the game when setting prices but ultimately I believe it's the developers in the case of no publishers or the publshers that have the last say in the price structure of their game
