Tropico 3 crashes
The game crashes when i try to load a game.
The main menu shows no problem, it's only when i actually launch the game. (the screen with the quotes).
I'm running Vista 32-bit.

Hey Beowulf,

please send a description of your problem with a directx-diag-file to support@kalypsomedia.com

To create the DxDiag.txt, please do the following:

1. Click "Start" button and choose "Run". Or alternatively, press (Windows-Button)+R.

2. Then type "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) and click Ok.

3. You will find all relevant information in the following window.

4. Click the "Save all Information" button, located at the bottom of the program window.

5. Save the file as "dxdiag.txt".

6. Attach the file "dxdiag.txt" with your E-mail to support@kalypsomedia.com

Cheers,
Dennis

I have been hearing a lot about crash's, and auto savegame issues. I have been playing since last weekend, and never had a lick of a problem. What makes others and me so special? Is this a luck of the draw type of thing?

RE: Tropico 3 crashes
Hey guys, I've had the same problem and here's what worked for me,
I went in C:\Users\"my username"\AppData\Roaming\Tropico 3 and erased everything in it. This will erase your saved games but it's totally better than not playing. I guess you could copy them somewhere and copy them back.
