Can't start game
When I try to start the game, it hangs, and eventually comes back with a message "not responding".

I tried updating Direct X to the latest version, and running as administrator.

In task manager, IR is using 50% of the CPU, so 1 processor is apparently looping.

If I select Debug rather than close, it returns:

Unhandled exception at 0x77a6862a in Imperium Romanum.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x00030fc4.

My system is
Intel Duo Core 6300, 1.8GH
2GB RAM
no separate video card: Intel G965 Express Chipset

Thanks, centurie. I was afraid of that.

I don't know if my computer will support a graphics card -- that's the down side of buying a "system" rather than a computer.
