Today this game was supposed to be released on Steam, it show in the new releases tab but the Steam client still won't let me download it. Did they change the release date again?

Yeah, I'll probably do that too. This would have to be the biggest release fubar I have experienced as of yet. Kalypso shot themselves in the foot big time and I feel they will lose a lot of goodwill over this fiasco. Can't speak for anyone but myself, but I most certainly will avoid them like the plague. Umm, not sure what is up on ya'lls end, but the game released on Oct 20th, I just downloaded it yesterday. Something may be up with steams servers, but it definitely not Kalyso's fault.

The game relesed in Oct 20th for NA and Germany but for the rest of the world it was supposed to be Nov 6th

The release date won't be tomorrow. It won't be released until 13th november. next week, I have no idea why. I was going to get this game now I def won't. I'm going to get assasin's creed 2 instead or maybe modwarfare2. Don't know why it has been delayed so much when it was released in germany and NA ages ago.

As if it just went from unlocking in 4 hours to 1 week 1 hour. I knew I shouldn't have trusted steam it was bad enough waiting for empire total war to download.

Are there any other places where i can buy Tropico 3 and download it now ?

just saw , at first ( when i saw i can download it now) i was like "YIPPIE!" and now im all blue , should i take my ear off ?

Its just really annoying that steam always does this. When the date got put back I thought right I'll look for a tropico 3 site. Googled it. Found this and it said November 13th. How long has it said November 13th on here and why did steam not change it when they knew rather than the exact time I expected to be downloading the game! grr. Needless to say steam have lost a customer I'll just get the game when it comes out in the shops now.

Its been the 13th Nov for a while I think. I pre-ordered from Game.Co.uk a while ago and got an email telling me it had been moved back the 13th. I noticed the steam date but was waiting to see if it was too good to be true and it was.

Bit crappy by Steam not to correct it until now but also seriously shambolic that Kaylpso can get it out in Germany in September, in the USA and Canada on the 20th October and the Uk is not until the 13th November. Really rubbish. On the other hand at least the game is good unlike MW2 which has shafted PC owners with no dedicated servers. So it could be worse. I have been pretty pissed off by the moveable goal posts that have been this games release dates and at this point my excitement is really starting to wane for the game.
