processeur : intel core i-5-4690k 3.50 Ghz
RAM : 8.00 Go
Type : 64 bits

Hi everybody.
Please try the following:
- Check if you are having a constant and stable internet connection during the whole update:
- If you are using WiFi, try using a cable-/wired connection instead
- avoid other traffic, such as downloads, streams and such alike
- check if your anti-virus program and/or firewall/s are not intervening in terms of restricting or even blocking Dungeons 2.
- Additionally check if you are having adminsitrative rights on your Windows User-Account, especially reading AND writing rights on your OS-partition (by default CSmile

Hi Bibi67.
Have you already tried the workarounds I have provided above?
On which platform are you playing Dungeons 2? (GoG.com, Kalypso-launcher, Steam?)
What is the current version you are playing on?
Could you in addition share some details about your system, such as OS+bit, CPU, GPU and RAM?

cheers

@Tous / All

Try using MS-FIXIT. See link for English below. Sometimes a program doesn't actually complete the tidy up after install and leaves temporary files and registry enties. If the patch update doesn't carry out a pre install check then it can fail.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats..._uninstall

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Essayez d'utiliser MS- FIXIT .

@Bibi67

Have you tried running the game in Compatibilty Mode (for Win 7)? If not give it a go.

@Bibi67

Does :-) mean it worked ?

If not we need to look deeper in the Diagnosic files.
Try looking in Event Viewer
Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer.

The easiest way is to try the update and as soon as it fails - open event viewer and look in the Windows Logs ; Application Log first for an "Error" relating to the game. Cut and paste details in to a post and look out for a WEP file - if you see a path with  WEP.......... file name, find it and attach it to the post.
If you don't see any Error in application Logs -have a look in System Log - here you looking for something that doesn't seem right.

EXAMPLE

Name resolution for the name forum.kalypsomedia.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

This is an error I forced by unplugging my network and trying to connect to the Forum.

OK, I finally got it.

I had to use the Windows 10 hidden Admin account. Then it worked fine.

The only and last Problem was, that I could not install the game on my second HDD D:. I had to install it on c:.  :-(

Thanks for your help.

@Bibi67 - excellent - always keep working the problem.
And most games assume C: for installation.

Seems that the game was installed in my country code (france, 1036) but the update seems to look for the us version ( 1033 )

Any idea is welcome !!

Hello macfly.
Could you please get in contact with our support directly:
