1.09 Save bug?
I might be the only one experiencing this but I've already lost two games this way. I go and save and the game crashes, not only not saving but deleting the saved game I was saving over. I had no issues before the 1.09 patch but today it has started to happen.

I had that problem once, back in 1.04, it crashed while saving corrupting the savefile. Tried with the autosave from that same game, but some months behind and the same happened. If you check your save folder you will probably still have the SAV file, but with 1kb.

RE: 1.09 Save bug?
I have had this problem numerous times even before the 1.09 patch. It seems to occur most often on heavily populated islands, or islands where I have built a lot of buildings. (for game purposes, it seems that decorations actually count as buildings, as I was granted a building related achievement while placing a decoration)

Now every time I get into a large city, i make a backup save file just in case.

My first act as El Presidente... Throw the Radio DJ off an oil platform with his feet in cement.
