Modded totem spell effects

I wonder if there is anyone left around here that can help me lol.

I have modded the item files of the Chalice of Rage & Focus of the Storm totems to behave like the Defiled Crypt totem, i.e. damage all enemies at the start of my turns.
I've changed the effect files to lower the damage & the modded totems are damaging enemies as normal like the DC totem.
However, the visual lightning\fire spell fx that hit enemies from the totems vanilla set up are no longer showing up.
The modded totems cast fx work as normal, just not the hit fx.

Edit: I figured it out, the DC totem has it's spell fx_start set in the effect file but the two other totems do not as they have it set in their item file so i just added it to their effect files.
They now work fully like the DC totem.

Below are the modded totem item files with the original Defiled Crypt at the top, the DC totem only has cast fx while the other two totems have both cast & spell fx.
