I am currently playing Tropico 3 and issued the 'Same Sex Marriage' edict. Knowing the Religious faction are against this it gave me a bit of a giddy feeling inside (I would quite happily eradicate the Religious faction). However, I clicked on a tenement - and there we have it folks, Rico and Braxton Bell are wed, one a doctor, one a PRIEST! Not to mention the fact that they have two children!

-Added Note: Just wondering also, why the hell are there so many homosexuals on such a small island! Is this Lesbos!?

-Added Note: Also - why are there no black people? It seems a little weird that the Presidente is the only black person - that is, if I were to pick a black person as my presidente!

-Added Note: I feel really sorry for someone, a doctor turned retiree! Suddenly from a big fat pay cheque of $25 he has to cope with a measly $6 on the Social Security scheme, living in a shack instead of the luxurious homes I set up for the elites!

You raise a good point about the races of the Tropicos...if you can't have black Tropicos (ala Jamaica) why can you make their leaders...?

However, on the second one, how much your retirees make is completely dependent on how much you pay your people...

My Presidente is a black man anyway...
If you look at the doctors, they are not white, and neither are the pregnant women...
If you do a close up on them you will see.
I tell you what though... I noticed you cannot get the army to execute children (only people who are in a faction who are grown up), although I think child murder would have probably raised a few more eye brows than a gay priests... anyway, who knows...

I don't know if this is some sort of joke, but there seems to be more gay couples in my army than in my population! I am spending far too much time on this game!
