RE: Augusta Raurica
I'm wondering if the description for the new map ist wrong? It says something about how we won't be able to build on the rock outcrops on this map, but can we ever build on rock outcrops on any map? Are they talking about the large rock structures on this map that appear on many other maps that we've never been able to build on, or are they talking about the numerous smaller rock formations that are littlered around this map that we CAN build ontop of as they disapear wen we do so.

I just started it last night and the first thing I wanted to do was to put a warehouse close to the six fishing/pier quays as well as being close to the mining areas...

This seems impossible as it keeps telling me that there is 'no path to the forum'...

Eventually....... I managed to put a warehouse almost on the bank by the quays - and had to put another warehouse near to the mining area...

I have not had time yet to see if I can manage to build enough buildings to support all of the workers at the quays.........Wink

There were no noticeable rocky outcrops though - it was just trying to place and failing - no clues as to where it is not possible to build that I could see...

Just to add that the warehouse was the only building I could not place - all other buildings were placed in that area with no problem once the warehouse was built, so it was probably just an accidental glitch/bug rather than part of the gameplay...

Sorry that my previous post was misleadingSad

Why even bother with the quay that is difficult to get to? You can make all sorts of Dn from the 5 easily accessible quays. In this image, two of the quays are shipping Gold. The outpost area with the black arrow is dedicated to importing wine via the quay and selling it via three trading posts at twice the price.
