Ok since i am a Greek as my profile mentions i guess i will clarify some things to you.

There are many types of groups here in Greece and many types of Greeks with different opinions... The ones that are like that as you describe them in your post are mostly the types of Greeks that vote political parties like the ones called SYRIZA and KKE here in Greece. These types of Greeks can be mostly understood by the political parties they vote and by what these parties represent...

- SYRIZA is a Greek "leftist" type political party that is against Angela Merkel and is also against Troika and any EU measures. Members of SYRIZA (and most of its voters) are "arrogant" and what we others like to call here in Greece as a bunch of "cheap leftist patriots" and "opportunists"....

They deeply believe that the European Union has become a puppet of the German politics of Angela Merkel and that the EU has lost it's main purpose as a "Union of European States". They also see Troika as a "USA finger" in the EU that can not be trusted. They are the types of people here in Greece that prefer blaming everyone else except themselves. The leader of this political party is called Alexis Tsipras and is a big fan of Ernesto Che Guevara. He likes people to see him like his favorite communist hero and he tries behaving in that way (In my opinion the guy suffers from some type of Narcissistic personality disorder...)

-KKE is a GREEK COMMUNIST PARTY. They are the left-overs of what remained from the agents and fans of the Soviet union here in Greece. Members and voters of this party are completely against EU and are against NATO and they hold a grudge against Germany since World War 2 and since it's "Nazi crimes" from the past...

In this party they are Greek types of people that always say bad things about Germany (some of them still like calling even today Germany as Nazi state) and they also the people that hate or distrust USA and any country that supports the USA...
Many are fans of Joseph Stalin in this party...

Definition: Troika - If you follow financial and business news in Greece, the troika is mentioned in practically every article. But just what - or who - is The Troika?

The troika is a slang term for the three organizations which have the most power over Greece's financial future - or at least that future as it is defined within the European Union. The three groups are the European Commission (EC), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the European Central Bank (ECB).

While Greece squeaked through the end of 2011 with the approval of the Troika, they are now facing an ongoing crisis and new elections in June. So the troika members are back in Athens frequently now, and will be until the next financial aid package is hammered out. If it is.

Although the word "troika" may conjure up the image of ancient Troy, it is not drawn directly from Greek. The modern word is from Russian, where it means a triad or three of a kind. It originally referred to a type of sleigh drawn by three horses, so it can refer to any thing or situation which involves or relies on the functioning of three separate parts. In its current usage, it is a synonum for a triumvirate, which also means a committee of three overseeing or having power over an issue or organization.

O.K. Now we know that.

So who are the other political parties which describe the Greek people?

RE: Grecian Mess
30 June 2011 – The United Nations independent expert on foreign debt and human rights warned today that the austerity measures and structural reforms proposed to solve Greece’s debt crisis may result in violations of the basic human rights of the country’s people, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) reported.

“The implementation of the second package of austerity measures and structural reforms, which includes a wholesale privatization of state-owned enterprises and assets, is likely to have a serious impact on basic social services and therefore the enjoyment of human rights by the Greek people, particularly the most vulnerable sectors of the population such as the poor, elderly, unemployed and persons with disabilities,” said Cephas Lumina, who reports to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.

“The rights to food, water, adequate housing and work under fair and equitable conditions should not be compromised by the implementation of austerity measures,” he said, urging the Government to “strike a careful balance between austerity and the realization of human rights, taking into account the primacy of States’ human rights obligations.”

Mr. Lumina also called upon the authorities to maintain some fiscal leeway to meet its people’s basic human rights, particularly economic, social and cultural rights.

“Tax rises, public expenditure cuts and privatization measures have to be implemented in such a way that they do not result in unbearable suffering of the people,” he said.

“Debts can only be paid out of income,” Mr. Lumina said. “A shrinking economy cannot generate any revenue and contributes to a reduced capacity to repay the debt. More time should have been allowed for the restructuring measures already in place to work.”

The independent expert also called on the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Union (EU) and the European Central Bank (ECB) to remain aware of the human rights impact of the policies they design in attempting to resolve the sovereign debt crises in Greece and other countries.

“There will be no lasting solution to the sovereign debt problem if the human rights of the people are not taken into account,” said Mr. Lumina, who serves in an unpaid capacity
