Worth getting?
Ok till my issue is resolved with Grand ages of Rome Gold UK edition (low building textures, petty I know but I'm a sticklier for high graphics when I have a good system) I am wondering if its worth getting Imperium Romanum, is it different enough from Grand ages to warrant purchasing?

The game is very different from Grand Ages: Rome. It's worth getting, but you should not pay to much for it. You can buy the Gold Edition for 20 euros on Steam and GamersGate.

Look for some gameplay videoes on Youtube.

Thanks for the info, I can get the Gold boxed edition from Amazon UK for £7.50 new, I also hope a patch to rectify the Texture problem with the UK version of Grand Ages is out soon.

By the way, its very familiar to Glory of the Roman Empire. If you played that one, you should think twice before getting this.

I haven't got Glory of Roman Empire, only other Roman based games I have is Caesar IV and Rome Total War..

It's $2.50 right now on "Impulse" (Owned by Gamestop, previously owned by Stardock). I suggest if you want this game, buy it there. That's what I did.
