No mate I have not, but every other game I try works fine and it cannot be a coincidence that the last copy did the same thing for the game shop as it did for myself ? I just don't get it. thanks for your reply

RE: Disc could not be read
Thats very strange, indeed. Mhm... The only advice I can give you is to try it in another PC / Laptop. If it works there, it means that the DVD-Drive has problems with the DVD. This still happens today because of the large variety of different DVD-Drive and DVD-Disc-Manufacturers. If this is the case, please contact me at dennis.blumenthal@kalypsomedia.com, we will find a solution for this.

Cheers,
Dennis

I had a copy Halo 2 for my pc it would not work on win 7 it was for vista. I changed some of my pc functions so it could work and it did. I cannot remember the changes I made but the disc would not load till I made the changes. Do you think this is the problem and if so do you have any idea how to remedy the situation. many thanks. RE: Disc could not be read
I've checked Bing & Co. but I didn't find anything like this. Sorry, I really don't know what changes could be done to make this work. As I said before, just try it in another PC or Drive. If it works there, there is an incompatibility between the DVD and your drive. In this case you can send me an email and we will find a solution. If the disc still does not work in another PC or Drive, the disc is defect. In this case you can send it to us and you will get a new one.
