since there are so few skirmish maps i seriously hope for a map editor
is there any new about one being made?

There is one for russian version of the game ( http://disciples3.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=7086 ) so there definitely should be one for english.

Well, the editor's user interface is already translated to 13 languages (including english and german). You could try it by downloading from http://www.disciples3.ru/DIII_MapEditor_Beta3.exe , then just "blindly" installing it (installer is in russian, but it shouldn't be a problem - it's a standard installer where you just click "yes, next, next, next"...). The only problem I see is that it requires serial number and I am not sure the one that comes with english version of the game will be accepted.

mine doesn't even include a cd-key

*nods* the English version doesn't come with a cd-key... hope that this is sorted out soon too, really want to start designing and playing on other maps!

Dear Kalypso, dear community,

I am a huge fan of the Disciples series and believe it to be better than Heroes V with addons..... at least as far as the singleplayer goes. The multiplayer you included into this game is basically an abomination: Only 5 maps, only 1 map with all three factions, the maps are small and the non-player factions are excluded. Adding to this problem is the fact that the map editor cannot be installed by us Western fans since we do not have a CD Key.
Please Kalypso, allow the developers to bring out a map pack of at least 5 maps with more than three factions and a Gold version of a Map editor with no CD key authentification, along with a patch that fixes the most obvious bugs (including the resource-buttons in the hotseat menu). This way, and only this way can you convince further people of buying the game and create motivation for hardcore fans as me. If you stop now, the game will become what Men of War became for Real-Time Strategy: The worse game (Company of Heroes) won due to better multiplayer options and a better marketing. There is still time, think about it.
