Hi all!

I'm lucky owner of D3 (polish version) and found one problem.

Scrolling the map is so slowly that is almost ridiculous...

Is it any way to "hack" it?

I found problem with castle view.

The same castle looks different turn by turn - sometimes like big castle and sometimes like a village (I play second mission, Empire)

I have the lastest Disciples Renaissance patch, 1.06.2.

* The computer has map hack, it sees the entire map to compensate for bad AI. This wouldn't be so bad if it didn't cast offensive spells where it has no way of seeing on that part of the map, especially with the bug following this one.
* Nearly all the time when the AI casts attack spells on the player's units, and the player is not a mage lord, it almost always results in the player not being able to cast spells for that turn unless the during the computer's turn, it engages the player in combat for that turn. I think if the AI is a mage lord, it might be different.
* The alchemist stores let you buy infinite character-boosting potions as long as you buy all the ones of the character in the same turn. Turns after that, you can't buy more. This makes leaders invincible and would be a cheat if the game didn't cheat.
* The AI heavily cheats by having its units teleport randomly anywhere on the map and just appear. This is most noticeable in Legions Chapter 6, when it does it constantly with powerful veteran units. The AI should have these units come from its capital and controlled cities, not just teleport anywhere on the map and have my main character (the only one who can handle such veteran elves) spend endless turns running everywhere.
* The main character (Lambert, Harhuus, etc.) eventually gets powers like polymorph other. If your last combat you used quick battle, then you go into battle again, the game will refuse to give him any of the powers, and he can only select defensive stance. Reloading the game is the only way to restore these abilities.
* The things like Titan's earthquake, Witch transformation, etc. only last for a few times. Like earthquake can only be done three times. If this is not a bug, then well it's not documented as how it's supposed to be.

Quick battle is not doing it. The game just likes to do this until I reload to fix it. I've experienced it not giving me the power on the first combat round and then the second, it gives it.

Hi Elorthio,

Don't mean to squash your good intentions, but Kalypso has stopped updating the game. Resurrection expansion corrects a few of the major bugs in Renassaince. Otherwise, we're all waiting for Rebirth to see what Akella fixes beyond that.

Oh well, I have one more:

Regenerate 150 hitpoints every turn elf spell does not work. Go in combat and it shows the + healing symbol but has no effect.

forgot this one. The skill for a mage, summon living armor ( or something like that, far right on skill tree, actually summons a Golem, a much more powerful creature. Also, the mage can summon it an infinite number of time , greatly unbalancing the battle. The AI generally attack the golem , not the mage, making the mage practically invincible. Even the archers, who should be shooting at the mage leader, waste their shots shooting the golem, which the mage can promptly summon again, if the AI manages to kill the golem. A real game buster. In general the use of summoning runes by the leader in battle ( and other runes) greatly unbalances the game, since the AI does not use runes to my knowledge, ( but I am only in the 2nd act playing empire). Game would be tougher if rune creation in the Castle were removed. I guess I will have to play without creating runes in the future just to give the AI a chance,. I have been playing on the hardest level and the use of runes in battle mode, make it a piece of cake to defeat the AI. No competition so far.

This is a shame, because the game could be made much more challenging

Feebleness has stopped working. The animation works but the effect and class is blank. Only the duration is still 10 turns.
