Hey, guys!

I got the demo for Grand Ages: Rome via Steam some time ago and likes it a lot! I downloaded it, played it, and it worked just fine. Steam is having a summer sale on now, so I thought I'd buy it while it was on sale. So, I deleted the demo and bought and downloaded the game.

It does the opening where it goes through the opening videos (Kalypso, Hiememont, etc.), and then shows the Grand Ages: Rome loading screen with the spinning eagle. The usual main menu music starts up fine, but instead of the main menu, I'm in some sort of strange edit mode-like screen. It's like I'm playing a level but have no resources and the escape key doesn't do anything.

At first I thought that I may have just installed it funny, so I deleted the local content and redownloaded and installed it (twice), but it keeps going back to the same empty field. I can pan the camera around and right click for full building menus, but that's just about it.

I've looked around for this issue, but can't find anything quite like it. I was wondering if you guys have heard of it or have a fix for it.
