I haven't got the game yet but I keep reading that you can't choose what leader you want to play in the skirmish or hotseat maps. Just curious as to what you gotta do to get around this. Do you have to keep reloading a brand new game till you get the leader you want or how exactly does this work? Thanks again. Looking forward to playing despite the bugs.

Buy the one you want.

Yes. I think they are insulting (most of) our intelligence by claiming it's a "bug".
Also, buy the one you want isn't really good enough. Most of the time you don't have that much to begin with, or if you happen to want a thief you need the guild (only leader with a req btw) so you might skip like 5 turns until you get him. Fun times!

Of course, you can buy if you want, but you will have to pass the game by main characters: Lambert, Haarhus and Erion.

We're talking about single scenarios. Pigeon holed into a warrior leader every campaign is another matter.
