Dear Dennis & Timo,

We've all been waiting for a fix for our nonfunctioning discs for several days now, some of us just short of a week. Initially we were able to have at least a semblance of patience, as we were informed that a fix would be coming out monday.

At the point, however, we're being left in the dark. We do realize that the game still has bugs and that being able to play doesn't mean we're going to have the perfect experience just yet. We also understand that potentially the problem could have compounded itself and brought many other issues into play that could be furthering the delay of the fix.

However, we're quite tired of being left in the dark. If something's delaying it, we want to know that it's being delayed and an estimated time on when we can expect it.

All I'd ask from everyone else is that you leave any further discussion or complaints out of the thread and simply /sign if you agree. Hopefully that will get the point across that as much as we're annoyed by not being able to play, we're ten times more pissed off that they aren't telling us what's going on with the fix or even how long it's going to take.

I agree with Psyrill. The last we heard was that the hotfix for the cd errors would deffinetely be out by Monday and the patch maybe by Monday. I still have my game on the shelf and can't use it, and we should know the progress on Disciples 3 no cd error as well as the patch.

I agree. Although this mistake is a little bigger than the norm for games these days, bugs and such are a common occurence. So someone screwed up, it happends. So someone screwed up more than useual.... ok, we get it. If it is going to take a week to fix, thats fine. If your not going to release the hotfix untill you have fixed all the bugs aswell......fine. Not the way we would want, but fine. Whatever it is, we just want to know. The only thing we dont want to hear right now is silence.

Some info would go a long way in goodwill with the majority of us who have been quietly watching these boards and the main D3 site for patch. I know that pissing and moaning won't speed anything up, but I'm unclear as to the reason for the deafening silence. I'm in the NA "disc not found" group, FYI. A hotfix for that (only) would be most welcome. I would prefer not to wait for all of the current bug fixes (which will likely take a long time due to regression testing, etc).

Maybe I'm a bit out of line here, but have you considered using a 3rd party NO-Cd crack? Its a common use for a lot of games where people just dont want to dig out the CD and stick it in. I remember people used to use it all the time for SC1 until they just rolled it into the game proper.

As a NA customer who only buys physical copies, and after going to gamestop (and thankfully now) they not having the game available, I am waiting for a fix/information on the status of the fix before I will buy a copy. So I am being blocked from even purchasing a copy (and I will suppose there are many other potential NA customers like me!) so if money is the only motivator here (as I guess it was by releasing a game that was bug ridden and unplayable with a disc) then think of all the money you could make as then I would buy the game!

I agree and hope everyone will keep bumping this post. What happened to Dennis who said we would know something by Monday (I guess he did not say which Monday) he seems to have fallen from the forums all together. I was so psyched about this game and still have to pinch myself to see if this is just not a bad dream. I just can not phathom a major blunder like this and no real information being posted. Hey even if you can not fix it at least let us know something.................Please!

And for those of you who support using a crack code just play the game and keep off this post as using a crack as a solution is just not the point.

Please break your silence and say something. We have waited too long for this game and your not saying anything is not helping. Even if the fix isn't ready, SAY SO!!

I hate to sound obvious, but they probably stopped reading the forums right after they said the fix would be out monday. It's not like they're coming here for new insights from all of the friendly posters. Why on earth would they come back to read all this? The next thing we will hear is that the patch is released.

I agree at least give us some information about whats going on. A honest answer is what we want.

I am pass the point of a verbal update, the chance for that was monday.
I want atleast something to play the game bugs and all! If not I am returning it.

Since they obviously aren't paying attention to thier own forums, maybe flood thier four support emails?

If there is no fix tomorrow I am going to return this POS game and put the $ towards SC2. I will never buy another game from any company that worked on this one and neither will anyone I know. They have officially ruined one of my favorite games ...

I agree. Its a tragedy that the worst launch in gaming history had to be Desciples 3 =/

I agree with you, I have done my share of the blame game about this issue so hopefully they have the point. Now they should man up and at least face us and say sorry the patch is delayed but is comming estimate date is:

Essentially use the Fixed .exe to replace your .exe and DLL. When they do their next update it should replace those over and continue operating as normal.

If you want to be doubly sure, change the name of the .exe and DLL to <GAME NAME>.Bkp Just keep it if it weirds out and requires the original .exe to fix.
